METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DIVIDING WIRE COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire coil dividing method and a wire coil dividing device capable of dividing and cutting coils of an arbitrary number at the weight ratio of high accuracy, reliably separating the coils without being affected by the coil shape and the wire diameter, and preventing the wire coil from being damaged. SOLUTION: When the coiled wire coil is divided at an arbitrary position, the coil is suspended or loaded so that the axis is substantially horizontal, a lower part of one end face of the coil is fixed in position, a part of the coil of the predetermined width from the end face is lifted from a lower part to expose a separated portion of the coil, and the wire is cut at the part to divide the coil. The wire coil dividing device comprises an upper lifter which suspends or loads, and elevates/lowers the coil with the axis in a substantially horizontal condition, a lower lifter which fixes in position a lower part of one end face of the coil on the separation side below the upper lifter, and elevates/lowers the coil, and a turnable and freely advancing pusher means for holding one end face of the coil on the separation side.
