Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element structure which is held with filter media at frame members and makes it possible to obtain a good filter function. SOLUTION: Outer peripheral end edges 12 and 19 of the pleat-folded filter media 11 are embedded and are integrally molded in the frame members 13 made of resins. Areas 13a of the frame members 13 where the end edges 19 constituting the corrugated shapes of the filter media 11 are embedded are provided with slits 16 along these areas 13. The inner frame sections 18 and the outer frame sections 17 are formed on both sides of the slits 16 by the slits. The filter media 11 pass through the slits 16 and are embedded in the inner frame sections 18 and the outer frame sections 17.
