PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 3D-structural coordinates by obtaining a monocrystal of a complex of decarbamilase and a D-N-carbamoyl-α-amino acid, which is a substrate of the decarbamilase, followed by crystal structure analysis with X-ray, and to provide an excellent decarbamilase isomer which is more advantageous for industrial purpose than the natural decarbamilase by designing a molecule with aims of improving the reactivity against a D-N-carbamoyl-α-amino acid, which is a substrate, optimizing the reactive pH, modifying substrate specificity and others by using the 3D-structural coordinates. SOLUTION: The steric structure of the complex of the decarbamilase and a D-N-carbamoyl-α-amino acid, which is a substrate of the decarbamilase, determined by crystal structure analysis with X-ray.
