PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal being an integrated device that generates information including an image and transmits/receives the information. SOLUTION: A figure 1 indicates a camcorder (mobile video unit) configured for example as a vertical type, the figure depicts its rear side, and the front of the camcorder is provided with an image pickup lens system and a cassette loading mechanism or the like (not shown). A figure 2 shows a panel type display device, which comprises a liquid crystal display panel, is fitted to the camcorder 1 in a freely inclinable way, and displays an image of a video signal picked up or reproduced by the camcorder 1. A figure 3 indicates a communication wireless antenna. Furthermore, a so-called touch panel type entry means 4 employing for example transparent electrodes is integrally placed on a display panel of the panel type display device 2. Then a user uses the entry means 4 to enter character information for generating for example electronic mail (information) and gives an instruction of extracting required image data or the like from the video signal.
