Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin valve structure that can secure excellent stability corresponding to high-density recording, and to provide a method for forming the spin valve structure. SOLUTION: A pinned layer 35 is provided, and has a five-layer configuration where a cobalt iron alloy(CoFe) layer 21, a ruthenium(Ru) layer 22, a cobalt iron alloy layer 23, a nickel chrome alloy(NiCr) layer 24, and a cobalt iron alloy layer 25 are laminated in this turn. Especially, the spin valve structure is composed so that thickness γ of the cobalt iron alloy layer 25 becomes approximately 1/2 times larger than that β in the cobalt iron alloy layer 23 (γ=1/2.β), and at the same time total β+γ of the thickness of the cobalt iron alloy layers 23 and 25 become smaller than thickness α of the cobalt iron alloy layer 21 ((β+γ) |
