PAVEMENT MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional pavement material consisting of asphalt, concrete, brick, tile, or stone when the conventional pavement material frequently causes submergence of a road in heavy rain because of its poor water absorbing ability, absorbs and retains solar heat in the daytime and releases the heat in the nighttime during the summer and results in a cause of a heat island phenomenon, and requires maintenance construction repeating cutting and crushing in every construction and forming many patched parts resulting in a cause of increased noise by a running vehicle and a source of industrial waste. SOLUTION: This pavement material is constructed of a porous body having multiple continuous/discontinuous small spaces inside the material and serving as a means for applying water permeability. The pavement material is formed into a block body. The pavement material is colored for emphasizing an identification display on the road or its appearance.
