Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric capable of expressing a new sense and also suitable for producing many items in small lots, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This woven fabric formed with plural warp yarns 4, 5 and plural weft yarns 11, 21, and 31 is provided by weaving by using the weft yarns as a high shrinkage yarn 21 having a high shrinkage and low shrinkage yarns 11 and 31 having a lower shrinkage than that of the high shrinkage yarn 21. Piles or wrinkle state projected parts are formed on the surface of the woven fabric by heating, etc., the fabric to shrink the high shrinkage yarn 21 and slack the low shrinkage yarns 11 and 31.
