Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blowing agent composition for producing a heat-insulating thermoplastic foam, not hurting the ozone layer, industrially usable, having heat conductivity, permeability and solubility substantially equivalent to those of HCFC-142b. SOLUTION: This blowing agent composition comprises 60-98% of HFC-134a and 2-40% of cyclopentane and arbitrarily carbon dioxide, a hydrocarbon, an alcohol, an ether or ethyl chloride. The thermoplastic polymer to be expanded is a polyethylene, polypropylene, a polystyrene or a polyvinyl chloride.
