Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of reducing the length of its hard tip. SOLUTION: An element frame 10, with a lens unit 11 and a solid-state image pickup element 12 disposed thereon, is positioned at the hard tip portion 9 and an HIC frame 30 with an HIC 15 disposed thereon is positioned within a flexible tube part 7 located behind a curved part 8. The connector 14 disposed on the element frame 10 and an end connector 31 disposed on the HIC frame 30 are electrically connected to each other by a plurality of signal cables 34, 34 and so forth which are passed through a relay cable 33 passed through the curved part 8.
