Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA microarray that permits shortening the assay time and has an excellent carrying property. SOLUTION: Temperature of a reaction cell 15 and a hybridization cell 31 are controlled. By generating an electroosmotic flow from a reservoir 5 to a reservoir 7, a specimen in a reservoir 9, a reference sample in a reservoir 11 and a reagent in a reservoir 13 are introduced into the reaction cell 15 through a passage 21, passage 23 and passage 25, respectively, to synthesize a labelled cDNA based on the base sequence of the specimen. The mixture in the reacting cell 15 is transported to a purifying cell 17 through a passage 27 for purification, and then transported to the hybridization cell 31 through a passage 29. The labelled cDNA and the reference sample hybridize to the complementary DNA probe fixed in the hybridization cell 31 and kept there. The base sequence of the specimen is specified by specifying the DNA probe where the labelled cDNA is kept.
