WIRE CONNECTION DEVICE FOR STATOR COIL OF ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connection device which easily connects a number of coil end wires drawn out from coil ends of stator coil wound on a core of a rotary electric machine meeting its coil connection specification and also enables to cope with automation of wire connection work. SOLUTION: In the wire connection device which makes wire connection of the coil end wires 3a drawn out from the stator coil 3 meeting the wire connection specification and joints between the coil end wires by disposing wire connection conductor segments 6 on the wire connection board 5, a plurality of circumferential slots 5a concentrically arranged and radial slots 5b disposed meeting the distribution pitch of the coil end wires so as to cross the circumferential slots are formed on the disk-like wire connection board of an insulation material, and also steps are disposed between the circumferential slots and the radial slots. Then, the connection wire conductor segments are disposed along the circumferential slots and the radial slots on the wire connection board meeting the wire connection specification of the stator coil, and each joint portion between the terminals 6a of the conductor segments drawn out of the outer periphery of the board and the coil end wires is ultrasonic-welded.
