Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier capable of always exhibiting a predistortion effect regardless of temperature change when unused and to provide a transmitter that uses the power amplifier. SOLUTION: A central control part 23 reads LUT information from an address of a LUT information storage device 24 corresponding to a detection temperature of a temperature sensor 22 with respect to a LUT in a predistorter part 21 to download the LUT information to the LUT in the predistorter part 21 when power is supplied to the transmitter. On the other hand, the central control part 23 uploads the data of the LUT in the predistorter part 21 and stores the contents in an address corresponding to a detection temperature from the temperature sensor 22 of the LUT information storage device 24 when the power is turned off. Thus, an expected predistortion effect can be immediately obtained regardless of the temperature change when unused, and it is possible to prevent a phenomenon that disturbs the communications of a user using an adjacent channel.
