Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment device and a heat treatment method which can detect a temperature of a treating object with high precision and hence perform needed heat treat for the treating object speedily. SOLUTION: In the heat treatment device which performs predetermined heat treatment with a heating means by heating a treating object deposited in a treatment container, the heat treatment device is provided with a temperature detector in the treatment container which detects temperature data for controlling the heating member. The temperature detector comprises a protecting tube and a temperature detecting body having a thermocouple deposited in the protecting tube. The temperature detecting body is connected to a plate- shaped heat receiving body through a connected part of metal wires constituting the thermocouple. The heat treatment method is a heat treatment method using the above-described heat treatment device, and is characterized in that the plate-shaped heat receiving body comprises the same material as that of the treating object.
