Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge quality of collective color of an object group by using a smaller-the-better S/N ratio of a Mahalanobis distance. SOLUTION: A reference space is formed on the basis of a color value of an object group judged to be good, a color value of an object is measured and input, a Mahalanobis distance of the measured color value is calculated on the basis of the reference space (110), a smaller-the-better S/N ratio is calculated using the calculated Mahalanobis distance (114), the quality of the color of the object is judged by judging whether the smaller-the-better S/N ratio is over a predetermined value or not (116).
