Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supporting data communication work that supports a data communication work by using a mobile data communication unit which makes wireless communications with a communication terminal station installed in a customer side facility to collect prescribed data stored in the communication terminal station so as to easily confirm a work position and a communication-available positional range or the like at the position, thereby enhancing efficiency to the data communication work. SOLUTION: The data communication work support method includes a step of displaying a map on a display menu 43 provided to the data communication unit, a step of identifying and displaying the position of a work object being an object of the data communication works on the map displayed on the display menu 43, a step of accepting the work position on the map displayed on the display menu 43, and a step of identifying and displaying, at the entered work position, the communication-available positional range where wireless communication is possible on the map displayed on the display menu 43.
