Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction performing device capable of preventing illegal use by forgery. SOLUTION: A portable communication instrument 10 as the transaction performing device receives certification by an electronic certificate from a certification station side communication device 40. Consequently, it is possible to certify that the portable communication instrument is genuine. In a business transaction, the electronic certificate is read out from an electronic certificate recording part 12 and transmitted to a card reader 30. The electronic certificate is inspected by a certification determination part 34 and when the portable communication instrument 10 is determined to be illegal, a transaction permission data showing transaction non-permission is transmitted to the portable communication instrument 10, the transaction information receiving part 16 produces a signal to show transaction stoppage and stops transmission of a card number recorded in a card number recording part 11 to the card reader 30.
