SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR SUMMARIZING AND PROGRAM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, and a method for generating summary, which are suitable for summarizing documents so as to include information desired by users and a program therefor. SOLUTION: A morpheme string input receiver 202 of a summarizing system 201 receives input of morpheme string, and an element memory part 203 stores morpheme strings to be recognized as elements and attributions of the elements in advance. A template memory part 204 stores templates including strings of stored attributions and information of character strings to be embedded between strings of the attributions, and an elements search part 205 searches stored elements from morpheme strings, which are inputted through the receiver, to output elements of the search results as string. A summary generator 206 acquires attribution sequences of the elements from sequences of elements of the search results. Subsequently, using stored templates, which include attribution strings of the elements, the summary generator 206 embeds information of character, which are included in the templates, between the morpheme string of an element corresponding to each of the searched attribution strings, and then completes summarizing.
