Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for plate making by which an inexpensive aluminum lithographic printing plate excellent in printing characteristics can be stably made without causing environmental problems because the waste liquid of the developer can be reduced to substantially zero and emulsion films or the like are completely recovered. SOLUTION: In the method for plate making of a lithographic printing plate, after a lithographic printing plate having at least a silver halide emulsion layer on an anodically oxidized aluminum supporting body is developed, a peeling means is brought into tightly contact with the lithographic printing plate to peel the silver halide emulsion layer. At least one layer constituting the lithographic printing plate is hardened with a hardening agent. The contact time of the peeling means to the lithographic printing plate is within 5 seconds.
