Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce attenuation of action amount 80 in the high frequency band to be inputted to an optical waveguide 10 in an optical modulator 100 which is provided with an electric waveguide 20 and the optical waveguide 10. SOLUTION: In this optical modulator, a filter 30 converts a modulation signal 71 into a signal equalizing the frequency characteristic of the action amount 80 and gives it to the electric waveguide 20. Moreover, the filter 30 approximates the frequency characteristic of the action amount 80 caused by the skin effect in the electric waveguide 20. |
