METHOD FOR PRODUCING SINTERED ORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for improving the permeability of a sintered layer and enhancing the productivity in the production of sintered ore at a low cost without increasing the amount of expensive quicklime or the like and without requiring additional equipment. SOLUTION: An organic fiber of cellulose woody fiber, a textile fiber or a mixture thereof, a clay substance mainly consisting of, by mass, 20 to 50% SiO2 , 20 to 50% Al2 O3 , 5 to 20% CaCO3 , 2 to 10% MgO and 1 to 8% Fe2 O3 , and an organic tacky adhesive agent consisting of one or more kinds of substances selected from lignin, starch, dextrin and molasses are added and mixed into a mixed raw material for sintering consisting of iron ore powder, sintering return fines, an auxiliary material, and solid fuel. This mixture is sintered by a conventional method.
