Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort wastes such as the bottles and cans by storing a large quantity of collecting cases of wastes such as bottles and cans collected in cases and taking them out of the collecting cases. SOLUTION: The facilities for converting waste into resources is provided with receiving and carrying equipment 10 for receiving storing cases 1 for waste such as bottles and cans collected by a collecting vehicle 3 and carrying the cases 1 in a prescribed direction, multistory storing equipment 20 constituted by jointly providing a plurality of carrying shelf units in the horizontal direction for elevatably suspending and holding a plurality of carrying shelves 21 in a height direction for left and right areas fixed in advance, receiving the storing cases 1 carried in from the receiving and carrying equipment 10 from one side of each carrying shelf 21, mounting a plurality of storing cases 1 and carrying out the storing cases 1 from the other side of each carrying shelf 21, and sorting equipment 40 for sorting waste such as bottles and cans of the storing cases 1 carried out from the other sides of the plurality of carrying shelf units according to materials of the cans and the sizes of the bottles and by coloring.
