Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle operating device enabling a driver to easily and surely operate an on-vehicle apparatus, regardless of his body height and body type. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle operating device comprises an operation panel 1 and a supporting mechanism 2. The operation panel 1 is provided with a display device 3 and a plurality of bottom switches 4. An operating panel 1 is detachably placed in an opening portion D1 in the center of a dashboard of the operation panel 1. The supporting mechanism 2 comprises an arm 5 placed inside of the dashboard D, and a guide roller 6 and a torque gear 7. The arm 5 is a circular arc, and a rack 5a is formed on an inner side of the arm 5. At an end portion of the arm 5, the operating panel 1 is rotationally attached. The guide roller 6 is rotationally provided around a horizontal shaft, and supports the arm 5 so that the arm 5 can move in a circular arc direction. The torque gear 7 having a shaft in parallel with the guide roller 6 is engaged with a rack 5a of the arm 5.
