WASTE GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS WITH IMPROVED DUST REMOVAL CAPABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas treatment apparatus capable of preventing discharge of dust from a clean gas outlet. SOLUTION: The waste gas treatment apparatus is for treating an object gas to be treated and comprises an inlet louver 37 for holding a catalyst in a manner that the catalyst is moved from the upper side to the down side and passing the object gas to be treated at right angles to a catalyst moving layer 60 containing the held catalyst and an outlet porous partition wall 39. The waste gas treatment apparatus comprises the moving layer 60 where the catalyst is packed and moved downward in a space between the inlet louver 37 and the outlet porous partition wall 39 and in the moving layer 60, there are a first porous partition wall 61 forming a front chamber 64 in a space to the inlet louver 37, an intermediate chamber 65 in a space to the first porous partition wall 61, and a second porous partition wall 62 forming a rear chamber 66 in a space to the outlet porous partition wall 39. A measurement apparatus 41 for measuring the amount of dust contained in the object gas to be treated is installed in the object gas introduction side in the upstream of the inlet louver 37 and the downward movement speed of the catalyst moving downward in the front chamber 64 is controlled based on the value measured by the measurement apparatus 41 so as to prevent discharge of the dust out of a clean gas outlet 35.
