BAG FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filter reducing equipment cost than before while keeping conventional dust removal capacity or enhancing the same. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas is introduced into a dust removing chamber 3 through a gas inlet 7 and dust in the exhaust gas is removed by a large number of cylindrical filter cloths 2 horizontally arranged in the dust removing chamber 3 in a parallel in longitudinal and lateral directions and the gas, from which dust is removed, is discharged from a gas outlet 9 through both open ends of the filter cloths 2, the through-holes 3b formed on the side walls 3a and 3a constituting the dust removing chamber 3 and connected to both open ends of the filter cloths 2 and the gas passage 8 connected to the through-holes 3b and, by parallelly arranging a large number of the filter cloths 2 in an up and down direction, the installation area of the bag filter 1 is reduced than before while keeping the conventional dust removing areas of the filter cloths 2 or increasing the same.
