Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method capable of calculating correction data in a short time and a computer readable recording medium in which the working method is recorded. SOLUTION: This working method for working a non-cylindrical workpiece comprises a first step for dividing the profile data of the non-cylindrical workpiece into the data of a workpiece main shaft and the data of a tool feed shaft, and for Fourier-transforming each data, and for calculating the gain and phase of each frequency, a second step for calculating the gain and phase of each frequency from the transmission function of an outline working main shaft device and the transmission function of a tool feed shaft device, a third step for adding the gain and phase of each frequency calculated by the second step to the gain and phase of each frequency calculated by the first step as for the workpiece main shaft and the tool feed shaft, a fourth step for performing the inverse Fourier-transformation of each frequency data of the workpiece main shaft and tool feed shaft of the non-cylindrical workpiece calculated by the third step, and a fifth step for preparing correction data being working data for the workpiece main shaft and tool feed shaft of the non-cylindrical workpiece obtained by the fourth step. Thus, it is possible to work the non-cylindrical workpiece based on the correction data.
