Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that whether or not own vehicle has strayed off a route cannot be detected by such a navigator that has neither map database, guide route computing function nor own vehicle position detecting function, and that transmits present position information and destination information to an information center to request the center to transmit a guiding route back. SOLUTION: The navigator 1 transmits present position information such as telephone numbers, etc., and destination information inputted from an operating signal input unit 11 to an information center 15 via a portable telephone 6 and then the information center determines the spot thereof, computes a guiding route and transmits the guiding route together with information of beacons covering the route. Upon receipt of a beacon during running along the guiding route, the navigator determines whether or not the received beacon is one covering the guiding route, and, if not covering the guiding route, automatically transmits the beacon information to the information center, as straying off the route. The information center takes the location of the beacon as a present position, computes and transmits a new guiding route. |
