PARKING POSITION SETTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking position setting device capable of simply and surely setting a parking position without using a method by image processing. SOLUTION: This parking position setting device is provided with imaging devices 1 and 2 imaging the environment of a vehicle, a display means 4 displaying images of the vehicle circumference imaged by the imaging means 1 and 2, a composition means composing and displaying prescribed segments or figures expressing a vehicle into images of the vehicle circumference, an operation means 5 for allowing a driver to adjust the positions of the prescribed segments or figures expressed on the display means 4, and a conversion means 7 projecting and converting the position of the prescribed segments or figures on the display means to a position on a road surface in the circumference of the vehicle. The position on the road surface in the circumference of the vehicle obtained by the conversion means 7 as a conversion result is set as the parking position of the vehicle.
