Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale prevention method which can effectively prevent the formation of scale by allowing a polymer-based scale preventive agent having an optimum average molecular weight range for scale prevention in water in a water system where ozone is used for the purpose of sterilization. SOLUTION: This scale prevention method is characterized in that the a polymer-based scale preventive agent of a high molecular weight of which the average molecular weight after the scale is decomposed by ozone is in the optimum average molecular weight range for scale prevention, is added to the water system where the ozone is used for the purpose of sterilization.
