EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exhaust gas treatment equipment designed for compactification and cost reduction. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment equipment includes an activated carbon molded filter 7 as a bug filter which dedusts an exhaust gas and through which passes a reaction product with HCl in a desalted form by means of collection. The activated carbon molded filter 7 dedusts and desalts the exhaust gas in the similar manner to the conventional procedure and simultaneously removes dioxin by adsorbing dioxin in the exhaust gas, further denitrates NOX in the exhaust gas by the reductive decomposition caused by allowing the NOX in the exhaust gas to react with NH3 which is supplied from an NH3 supply apparatus 6 and in addition, desulfurizes SOX in the exhaust gas by adsorbing the same in the form of sulfuric acid or an ammonium salt of a reaction product of sulfuric acid with NH3 . Thus, the equipment eliminates an activated carbon adsorption tower that is essential for the later step of a bug filter in the conventional procedure.
