DOCUMENT PROCESSOR AND METHOD FOR DOCUMENT PROCESSING AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge a process pattern from a judgment material for deciding the end of a sentence and to easily perform corresponding sentence end processing. SOLUTION: The sentence end processing is performed for inputted character data by an input means 1 which inputs the character data, a character extracting means 21 which extracts a sentence end symbol and character data following the sentence end symbol from the inputted character data, a pattern detecting means 22 which detects the patterns of the extracted sentence end symbol and the character data following the sentence end symbol, a rule storage means 3 which stores sentence end processing corresponding to the combined pattern of the extracted sentence end symbol and the character data following the sentence end symbol, a sentence end processing means 23 which performs the sentence end processing corresponding to the pattern detected by referring to the rule storage means 3, and an output means 6 which outputs the result obtained by reflecting the sentence end processing of the sentence end processing means on the inputted character data.
