Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly provide a waveguide type optical module with which predetermined demultiplexed wavelength characteristics are acquired, and secondarily to provide a waveguide type optical module which houses a plurality of quartz type optical waveguide devices in one casing. SOLUTION: Since a quartz type optical waveguide device 5 is directly fixed on a heating element 12, sufficient thermal diffusion to acquire the predetermined demultiplexed wavelength characteristics is carried out, and the waveguide type optical module with which the predetermined demultiplexed wavelength characteristics are acquired is realized. The waveguide type optical module which houses a plurality of quartz type optical waveguide devices 23a to 23c in one casing 2 is further realized by directly fixing the plurality of quartz type optical waveguide devices 23a to 23c on a heating element 22.
