Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a controller for detecting the generation of clogging of a filter provided in a machine chamber of the refrigerator due to dust. SOLUTION: The controller for the refrigerator comprises a fan current detecting means 22 for a compressor and a fan current deciding means 23 for a compressor. When the clogging of the filter is generated, the current value of a fan 19 for the compressor increases. Thus, when the current value of the fan 19 for the compressor is a setting value or higher, the clogging of the filter can be detected.
