Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional resistance reducing agent inhibiting the formation of eddies in an aqueous medium transferred through a pipe and having an excellent effect of reducing frictional resistance. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) an aliphatic oxygen-containing compound represented by formula (1): R-O(C2 H4 O)n -H (wherein R is an aliphatic group having 6-22 carbon atoms on the average; and n is the average number of moles of ethylene oxide added and is a number of 0-12) and (B) a polyvalent metal salt of an anionic surfactant.
