SOLUTION: This steering shaft 1 for transmitting the rotation of a steering wheel 2 is provided with a first shaft 3 made of steel and a second shaft 4 made of aluminum or the aluminum alloy. The steering wheel 2 is connected to one end of the first shaft 3, and one end of the second shaft 4 is connected to the other end thereof.
