FLOATING PIER FOR MOORING SHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that conventionally the height of a walking face at an auxiliary pier is set in the same height of a walking face at a main pier and a space between the lower surface of the auxiliary pier and a water surface is widely opened, thereby a small-sized ship is sometimes-gets into the space, and both of the pier and the ship are damaged; and that conventionally the auxiliary pier is merely installed on one side of the main pier along the longitudinal direction, which makes the whole of the pier unstable, and thereby it is necessary to set the width of the main pier large in order to keep a balance and a production cost for the pier is increased. SOLUTION: This floating pier for mooring the ship is provided with the auxiliary pier so that the end part thereof floats on the water surface in the direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the main pier floating on the water surface. The auxiliary pier is fixed on the main pier at so that the walking face at the auxiliary pier positions lower than the walking face at the main pier.
