Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for concentrating oxygen provided with a controlling function for an induction motor for a compressor by which an oxygen-concentrated air with a specified concentration can be stably fed even in a case where fluctuation of oxygen concentration is generated. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for concentrating oxygen provided with an adsorbing cylinder in which an adsorbent for selectively adsorbing more nitrogen than oxygen is filled and a motor-driven air compressing means for feeding air into the adsorbing cylinder, the apparatus for concentrating oxygen for medical care is characterized by providing an oxygen concentration detecting means for detecting the oxygen concentration of the formed oxygen-concentrated air and a controlling means for controlling the number of rotations of the motor of the air compressing means based on the detected result.
