Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel heater for a liquid crystal display element in which an interference cell is made to properly function as a panel heater by improving the adhesion property between a transparent substrate and a peripheral sealing material. SOLUTION: A plurality of holes 19 to improve the adhesion property between a transparent substrate 4 and a peripheral sealing material 11 is formed in the part of a transparent conductive film 18 corresponding to the peripheral sealing material 11. The holes are formed in the direction of the voltage applied on the transparent conductive film 18 and in the direction perpendicular to the above direction with each specified interval.
