Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint, which connects a joint and a tube in a single operation by only having to insert the flexible tube, wherein a retainer playing an important role in slip-off prevention is provided with tightening elasticity and can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The joint for a flexible tube is provided with a cylindrical body 11, an annular retainer 44 and a push ring 25. While having the outer peripheral surface 47 which can come into contact with a tapered surface 37 of the tip inner surface of the press ring 25 and an inward protrusion 45 in the radial direction, the retainer 44 comprises a metal made compact 50, in which a notch 48 in the axial direction formed from the side of the protrusion 45 is provided at a plurality of positions in the peripheral direction, the peripheral edge of a block-shaped part 54 partitioned by the notch of the metallic compact 50, and a synthetic resin compact 60 with elasticity which is mounted in such a manner that a ring shaped part on the end side of the notch in the axial direction is covered. The surface of the protrusion is made restorable and deformable due to the elasticity of the synthetic resin compact 60, so as to be engaged with the root in an outer periphery of a corrugated pipe.
