EVAPORATION AND CONCENTRATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporation and concentration device capable of performing stable processing by preventing various troubles to be caused by generated foam with a simple constitution and an economically effective means in the case of evaporating and concentrating a foamable liquid while reducing pressure. SOLUTION: The evaporation and concentration device is provided with a treatment tank for storing foamable liquid, a pressure reduction means for reducing pressure within the processing tank, a heating means for heating the foamable liquid, a cooling means for cooling and condensing vapor from the treatment tank, a circulation means for taking out the foamable liquid from the storing part of the foamable liquid within the treatment tank and jetting it to the upper part of the foamable liquid in the treatment tank for circulating it and a foam preventing means for preventing the foamable liquid from foaming, and this device evaporates and concentrates the foamable liquid. The device is provided with a defoaming means consisting of a foam detection sensor provided at a position higher than the liquid surface of the foamable liquid within the treatment tank and a sucking mechanism for sucking external air into the treatment tank and which performs defoaming by increasing pressure within the treatment tank by the operation of the foam detection sensor.
