Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new video editing method and device using a computer. SOLUTION: This editing method for editing a non-edited video by using a recorder provided with a random access recording medium and the computer for controlling the recorder comprises the step of recording the non-edited video in the random access recording medium, the step of displaying a user interface regarding commands for controlling the storage device at the display of the computer, the step of retrieving the non-edited video stored in the random access storage means for a desired scene by utilizing the user interface and the step of generating an editing list for editing the non-edited video by using the obtained scene.
