Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device capable of performing efficient both-side printing which is not restricted by the number of stacked sheets of a both-side tray. SOLUTION: The color image forming device having a page memory to store at least one page portion of image data and the both-side tray for the both-side printing has a means to obtain the restricted number of sheets stacked at the both-side tray, a means to store the image data of a surface in the page memory, a means to form a surface image on paper based on the image data stored in the page memory for each restricted number of sheets and to store the paper in the both-side tray and a means to form the image data of a back face on the paper on a face on which the image data of the surface of the paper stored in the both-side tray is not formed and to eject it.
