GAS METER SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR MULTIPLE DWELLING HOUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a gas meter in a midway part of flexible gas piping in a pipe shaft of a multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: A cylindrical strut fixture 8 is screwed in a substantially center position of a floor face 1a of the pipe shaft 1. A strut 2 of a predetermined height is erected by fixing a steel pipe 10 to the fixture 8 by insertion. A side plate 14 of a meter fixture 3 is attached to the strut 2 by a U-bolt 4. A tip of each joint 15 connected to an entering and exiting side of the gas meter 7 is passed through a meter fixing plate 13 horizontally arranged on the meter fixture 3. Each joint 15 and each elbow pipe 16 connected to the flexible gas piping 6 of the entering and exiting side are fixed to the meter fixture 3 by coupling them with a screw so as to hold the meter fixing plate 13 in between. By this, the gas meter 7 can be fixed and supported in the substantially center position of the pipe shaft 1 where installment is easy.
