Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring laser gyro block and a manufacturing method thereof which has an annular optical path good in gastightness and workability including spot-facing holes. SOLUTION: The ring laser gyro block along with the manufacturing method thereof comprises a lower and upper half blocks 1L, 1U formed symmetrically with respect to their mutual butting faces butted and bonded; and a backing glass tube 1T composed of an annular optical path corresponding cavity 111, spot-facing hole corresponding cavities 130, 131 communicating with the cavity 111, a cathode opening corresponding cavity, and an anode opening corresponding cavity. The glass tube 1T is inserted between the lower and upper half blocks 1L, 1U and bonded tightly them in one body.
