SOLUTION: This gas-liquid separating device for engine for separating an oil content in a blowby gas which is refluxed to an intake system is provided to a head cover 1. In this vapor liquid separating device for engine, a centrifugal separation chamber 7 for generating swirl flow in the blowby gas is integrally formed to the head cover by a rib-like wall (a peripheral wall 14 in a preferred embodiment) inwardly projected from an inner surface of an outer wall of the head cover. Accordingly, the centrifugally separating chamber is depressed inside the head cover, thereby reducing a required space.
