FOLDING CONSTRUCTION OF VERTICAL FRAME AND TOP LATERAL FRAME IN FRAME MEMBER FOR OPENING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding construction of a vertical and a top lateral frames in a frame member for an opening capable of being delivered as a precut type opening member by assembling it in a more compact unit and easily installed by extending the folded portion of the unit at the job site, and executing a simple work such as insertion. SOLUTION: The folding construction of the present invention is a frame member for an opening used for an opening of a house, an office, a building for educational facilities or the like and constitutes a rectangular frame by mutually fixing upper and lower lateral members and right and left vertical members. The upper lateral members 1 is longitudinally bisected, and each of the divided upper lateral member is jointed at one end in a foldable manner by a joint member X, and the other ends of the bisected upper lateral frame members 1a and 1b are respectively jointed in a foldable manner at the upper ends of the left and right vertical members 2, 3. At the time of folding, these frame members are formed in an M-shape.
