BRACKET FOR ENGINE MOUNT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight bracket for engine mount manufacturable easily and having sufficient mounting seat face strength. SOLUTION: In this Al-made bracket 20A for engine mount having a bolt nut tightening part 26 with the engine 11 side or a bolt nut tightening part 22 with the vehicle body 14 side and provided between an engine 11 and a vehicle body 14, the bracket 20A is provided with recessed parts 24, 28 which are molded bodies formed by pressing an Al plate material or extruding the Al material, constitute bolt nut mounting seat faces 24a, 28a at positions including peripheral fringe parts of bolt insertion holes 23, 27, and are compressed and hardened in the direction of plate thickness. Since the bracket 20A can be manufactured by a press process only without employing a heat treatment process, the lightweight bracket having sufficient mounting seat face strength can be manufactured inexpensively. Moreover, the mounting seat face strength can be adjusted by changing compression allowance (compression amount) of the recessed parts 24, 28.
