Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for fluidity of molten steel with which static magnetic field having a desired value can be given in each desired zone in a mold. SOLUTION: Magnetic field generators disposed so as to be faced by interposing between a pair of long side plates 2 in the mold 4 and also, generating the magnetic field impressed to this molten steel for restraining the flowing of the molten steel in the mold, are provided. The magnetic field generators are composed by disposing four pairs of coils in the interval in the width direction of the long side plates, as pairs of each two coils 11 and 12, 13 and 14, 21 and 22, and 23 and 24 disposed so as to face to mutual reverse magnetic poles interposing the interval between a pair of long side plates. Further, four pairs are divided into two sets and four coils 11-14 and 21-24 in each set, are connected with a common voltage changeable electric source device in each set.
