Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption element having a safe, less costly and high- performance gas adsorption properties with such advantages that a baking process is not required and no ignited combustion occurs even when the element is exposed to a hot blast at 200 deg.C or higher during its regeneration after adsorption, in the manufacture of the adsorption element having a honeycomb structure. SOLUTION: This adsorption element 2 is constituted of at least a powdered adsorbing material, a fibrous mineral, a fibrillated heat-resistant polymer and a binder. The content of the fibrillated heat-resistant polymer per unit volume of the adsorbing element is 10 to 30 mg/cc and the total content of the organic matter is 15 to 45 mg/cc. A rotor 2 has an adsorption part 16 and a regeneration part 17 and is driven to rotate in an arrow direction 19 so that the adsorption/ desorption process is efficiently performed to achieve the continuous treatment of a gas to be treated. |
