FILTER PRESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter press for easily realizing a structure, which can easily remove a cake from a filter frame, at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the filter press wherein filter frames 1 for accumulating the cake obtained by flocculating a solid from a solid-liquid mixture and diaphragm frames 3 equipped with diaphragms for compressing the solid-liquid mixture to the filter frames 1 are alternately arranged, both frames 1 and 3 are connected at the lower parts thereof so as to be capable of altering the angle formed by one set of the filter frame 1 and the diaphragm frame 3 adjacent to each other and, by parallelly moving the diaphragm frames 3 in a horizontal direction, only the lower parts of the filter frames 1 becoming a pair are allowed to follow and, contrarily, the upper parts of the filter frames 1 are retained to make the filter frames 1 tiltable.
