Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring device capable of efficiently machining a bore in the inner peripheral surface of an erected cylindrical structure. SOLUTION: In this boring device 10, beam members 16, 18 are stretched across a flange 12A of the cylindrical structure 12. The end parts of the beam members 16, 18 are fitted with a pulley member 32, and a boring machine 42 is supported on the pulley member 32 through an air cylinder 38. The boring machine 42 machines a bore in the inner peripheral surface 12B of the cylindrical structure 12 by rotating a tap cutter 48.
